Lunar Crystals
The moon represents emotion and powerful instincts, patterns, ancestral and karmic inheritances. For all moon signs it is recommended to meditate with a bloodstone at the full moon to uncover hidden unfulfilled desires that are controlling your life.
It is possible to reprogram patterns of behavior and facilitate healthy sources of nurturing.
Moon in Libra
Rose Quartz – gentle, loving energy, relationship-oriented. Attracts love, promotes beauty, peace and harmony.
Positive traits - Co-operation, diplomacy, desire for tranquil life.
Aquamarine - promotes harmony.
Herbalism
Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis)
Aloe vera extracts have antibacterial and antifungal properties, used as a moisturizer and for burn treatment. Internal intake of Aloe vera has been linked with improved blood glucose levels in diabetics, and with lower blood lipids in hyperlipidaemic patients and those with acute hepatitis (liver disease). Oral Aloe vera gel may reduce symptoms and inflammation in patients with ulcerative colitis. Used topically and internally for treatment of skin conditions such as eczema.

The Plough
- Develops elasticity in the spine
- Strengthens and relieves tension in the back, abdomen and neck
- Helps reduce weigh in and firms muscles and skin in the legs, thighs, hips and abdomen.
- Lie flat on back with arms at the side. Allow body to go limp, close eyes, breathe normally.
- Turn palms downward so they press against floor, bring legs together and tense leg and abdominal muscles.
- Slowly raise your legs up into the air until they are at a right angle with the floor.
- Keep your knees stiff, press down hard on the floor with your palms and swing your legs back over your head.
- Continue to push down on the floor with your hands and keep your knees straight. Slowly lower your legs behind you towards the floor as far as possible. Stop when this movement becomes a strain and hold in the extreme position for 20 seconds. Work over the next few weeks so your legs reach the floor which is the ultimate position and hold this position for 30 seconds.
- To come out of this posture, bend your legs at the knees and bring the knees close to your head. Roll forward and arch your neck so that you can keep the back of your head and upper back on the floor.
- When your back is resting on the floor, extend your legs straight out into the air and slowly lower them to the floor.
- Allow your body to go completely limp and rest for at least 1 minute.
Poetry
Alfred Tennyson
A Farewell
Flow down, cold rivulet, to the sea,
Thy tribute wave deliver:
No more by thee my steps shall be,
For ever and for ever.
Flow, softly flow, by lawn and lea,
A rivulet then a river;
No where by thee my steps shall be,
For ever and for ever.
But here will sigh thine alder tree,
And here thine aspen shiver;
And here by thee will hum the bee,
For ever and for ever.
A thousand suns will stream on thee,
A thousand moons will quiver;
But not by thee my steps shall be,
For ever and for ever.

Barbara Streisand
People,
People who need people,
Are the luckiest people in the world
We're children, needing other children
And yet letting a grown-up pride
Hide all the need inside
Acting more like children than children
Lovers are very special people
They're the luckiest people in the world
With one person one very special person
A feeling deep in your soul
Says you were half now you're whole
No more hunger and thirst
But first be a person who needs people
People who need people
Are the luckiest people in the world
With one person one very special person
No more hunger and thirst
But first be a person who needs people
People who need people
Are the luckiest people in the world...
"People" Song Lyrics
