Crystal Healing
Black Tourmaline – Grounding, Protecting, Realigns, Root Chakra, soothes and settles bones and muscles. Black Tourmaline Crystal Grid is an intensive cleansing and protective grid used to clear long-standing negative energy and to repair tears in the auric field. Useful for grounding and stabilizing. (Eight tourmaline crystals, one at crown of the head, one by right ear, one by left elbow and wrist, one by right wrist, and one above this position, one by left ankle and one at base of feet, these placement form a criss-cross pattern across the body). Black Tourmaline is also a powerful anti-negativity crystal and is useful as a crystal essence in a spray form for areas of high negativity.

Gingseng Latin: Panax ginseng (root) steroidal glycosides, panaxosides, sterols, vitamin D, anti-depressive, improves physical and mental being. Raises lowered blood pressure to normal, aphrodisiac, Dosage: ½ teaspoon of powdered root in cup of water, bring to boil, simmer gently for 10 minutes, drink x 3 daily.
Alternative – herbs that gradually restore the proper function of the body, increase wellbeing and energy.
Burdock (Alterative, diuretic, Bitter)
Latin: Arctium Lappa Used for Skin conditions, dry and scaly, psoriasis, rheumatic conditions. Dosage: Decoction 1 tsp of the root in a cup of water, bring to boil and simmer for 10 -15 minutes x 3 times a day. Tincture take 2-4 ml tincture three times a day.
Yoga
The Cobra (Bhujangasana) "The Gerunda Samhitanotes says this asana increased the bodily heat and destroys diseases”. This posture puts gentle pressure on the abdomen, massages all organs, helps relieves many utero-ovarine and menstrual problems, stretches the thoracic region and expands the rib cage, bringing relief from asthma, increases flexibility, the arching of the spine rejuvenates spinal nerves and brings a rich blood supply. Mentally this postures demands considerable concentration and strengthens this facility. Pranic flow to the lungs, stomach, kidney, urinary bladder an spleen meridians, produces body heat.

Amazonite – A light blue stone, known as the “Well being Stone”, motivates, is associated with the throat chakra. Soothes problems with ears, nose throat and nervous system, releases blocked emotions. Six amazonite can be used in a crystal grid, one crystal above head and below feet, one on each side of the shoulder and one on each side of the knees. This grid helps focus on goals, and helps motivation.

Ginger- Rubefacient for rheumatic aches and pains. Good general tonic, used in bath to help prevent infections and colds. Stimulant
Hyssop - General nerve tonic, helps regulate blood pressure either high or low. Sedative

Crystal Healing
Clear Quartz is the crystal associated with the Crown Chakra and our connection to the divine. It is known as the “Master healer” and is used to align the chakras and for meditation. A crystal point drawn away from the feet counter clockwise helps to “pull the pain out” of this area. Like the amethyst points, crystal points are placed on each side of the site of the pain to concentrate the healing energy to this site. Seal of Solomon is illustrated on the crystal healing page http://www.crystalartsandhealth.org.uk/crystal_healing_sessions.htm Six crystal points are used for the head, each shoulder, the feet, and on each side of the knees. Point the crystals out at first to draw the negative energy away, then after 10 minutes turn the crystals towards the body to draw positive energy back in.

Anti-spasmodic, (useful for period pains) Carminative, helpful for asthma, colds, sore throats. Galactagogue, helps stimulate milk flow. Anti-parasitic, useful to treat lice and scabies. Stimulant. Caution: Irritant to sensitive skin.
Benzion
Latin: Styrax benzion
Vanilla like aroma helps circulation, inhalation, laryngitis, upper respiratory conditions. Warming.
Yoga
For those wanting to work with younger people or who have children of their own.
