Chest Expansion Posture

• Develops the chest, bust, muscles of the shoulders.

• Expands the lungs, stimulates the lung cells.

• Provides a quick relief of tension throughout the trunk.

• Aids improvement in posture

  1. Stand easily with your arms at your sides.
  2. Bend your elbows and raise your arms slowly so back of your hands touch your chest.
  3. Straighten out arms at chest level, bring back slowly until you can clasp your hands behind your back, straighten out your clasped hands and arms as far as you can without strain. Remain standing, do not bend forward.
  4. Keep hands clasped and arms held high, slowly, and gently bend backwards from the waist. Drop the head backward slightly and look upward. Go as far back as you can without straining and hold position for 5 seconds.
  5. Slowly bend forward at the waist. Bring clasped hands and arms up straightly over your back as you bend forward. Keep knees straight and allow neck muscles to relax. Remain in this position for 10 seconds.
  6. Slowly come out of this position. When standing upright, unclasp hands and stand with your arms at your side. Rest several moments and repeat movement again.
Good position for people who spend large part of the day sitting.

"Hope" is the Thing with Feathers

"Hope" is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul

And sings the tune without the words

And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;

And sore must be the storm

That could abash the little bird

That kept so many warm.

I've heard it in the chillest land

And on the strangest sea,

Yet never, in extremity,

It asked a crumb of me.

Sway

When marimba rhythms start to play

Dance with me, make me sway

Like the lazy ocean hugs the shore

Hold me close, sway me more

Like a flower bending in the breeze

Bend with me, sway with ease

When we dance, you have a way with me

Stay with me, sway with me

Other dancers may be on the floor

Dear but my eyes will see only you

Only you have that magic technique

When we sway I grow weak

I can hear the sound of violins

Long before it begins

Make me thrill as only you know how

Sway me smooth, sway me now

Quien sera el que me quiere a mi

Quien sera, quien sera

Quien sera el que me de su amor

Quien sera, quien sera

I can hear the sound of violins

Long before it begins

Make me thrill as only you know how

Sway me smooth, sway me now

Sway me smooth, sway me now
